Content Tree

Content Tree is a view in Content section, showing all Content Nodes availble in the portal instance. All Content Nodes which are not hidden in navigation, will be rendered in the main navigation on your site frontend.

It is assumed here that you keep using default template. You can customize this behaviour by creating custom site template.

Sorting

Content Nodes you created are added to the Content Tree as the last and that's how they will be rendered in the navigation menu. You can move them in the hierarchy to position the differently in the navigation.

To sort Content Nodes:

  1. Go to root Home node, open side menu and click 'Do something else':

  2. Click 'Sort'

  3. Now you can drag and drop your Content Nodes to sort them in a way you want them to be rendered:

  4. Click save to save the change

Moving

You can move the Content Node under different parent Content Node. All child COntent Nodes will be rendered as submenu links in the rendered page.

  1. Go to the node you want to move, open side menu and click 'Do something else':

  2. Click Move

  3. Now you can select the target Content Node to which you will move current node to. Click 'Move' to commit the change.

Copying

You can copy existing Content Node.

  1. To copy the content node, highlight it, open open side menu and click 'Do something else':

  2. Click 'Copy'

  3. Select the new parent for the Content Node, decide if you want to keep reference to the original and if you want to copy with all child Content Nodes. Click 'Copy' to start copying:
